To encourage high-quality work, Lafarge applies a competitive pay policy. Part of an employee's annual bonus is based on their personal performance. As a result, each employee receives a salary that reflects their efforts.

Since 1961, Lafarge has actively encouraged employees to hold shares. The intention is for employees to participate in the Group's economic performance. The Group launched its latest employee shareholder plan in 2011. At the end of 2012, 49,000 of the Group's 65,000 employees were employee shareholders. They held 1.77% of the Group's capital. |
