On 31 December 2011, the share capital is divided into 287,247,518 shares, to which 399,783,502 rights* at shareholders' meetings are attached.
* Double voting rights are attached to fully paid-up Lafarge shares registered for at least 2 years in the name of the same shareholder (during the General Meeting, above the threshold of 5% of the rights, the number of voting rights is adjusted on the basis of the percentage of the capital represented at the General Meeting. This adjustment mechanism does not apply when the quorum at the General Meeting is greater than two-thirds of the total number of voting rights). |
