How do I receive a dividend? |

All shareholders (bearer and registered) receive dividends. To receive a dividend, you must hold Lafarge shares on the day before the dividend payment is scheduled. The next dividend payment will be made on July 6, 2010, on the basis of 2009 profits (ex-dividend date: July 1st, 2010). |

Increased dividends: a bonus for loyalty! |

Since 1999, shareholders who have held registered Lafarge shares for at least 2 years receive a bonus of 10% on their dividend, as long as the number of shares held does not exceed 0.5% of the total capital. The 2-year holding period runs from January 1 of the year following the year of registration. Shareholders who had registered their shares on or before December 31, 1996 were the first to benefit from the increased dividend. |

The dividend approved by the General Meeting on May 6, 2010 on the basis of 2009 profits is set at €2.00 per share. This decision shows the Group's commitment to its shareholders in the current difficult situation. |
