Stakeholder panels

Lafarge has created 2 panels which offer a critical perspective on its sustainable development efforts. The stakeholder panel was created in 2003. Its members comment on the content and quality of the Sustainability Report. They work with the Executive Committee to improve performance and management with regard to sustainable development.

The advisory panel on biodiversity, created in 2006, helps the Group to develop its biodiversity strategy.

The advisory panel on biodiversity

The advisory panel on biodiversity was created in 2006 to advise the Group on its biodiversity strategy and contribute ideas to improve and develop it. The objective is to create a forum which meets twice a year to debate the best environmental practices.

The members of the panel

  • Were chosen for their expertise in biodiversity subjects ranging from the preservation of fauna to international agreements and the management of natural zones.
