BiodiversityLafarge operates 730 quarries around the world. Their rehabilitation is a priority for the Group. In 2009, 79% of the Group's quarries benefited from a rehabilitation plan established according to the methodology defined with the WWF. The aim is to preserve the animal and plant resources present in these natural environments. |
