Gérard Kuperfarb has been Executive Vice President Innovation at Lafarge since 2012 and has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2007.
He joined Lafarge in 1992, holding various staff and line positions in France and later in North America.
He was appointed President of the Aggregates & Concrete activity for Eastern Canada in 2005 and became a member of the Lafarge Executive Committee as Executive Vice President, Co-President of the Aggregates & Concrete Business in 2007.
He began his career in 1983 as a research engineer at the Ecole des Mines de Paris.
In 1986 he joined the Composite Materials division of Ciba Geigy, where he held various functions in sales and marketing, and he later moved to a strategy consulting firm.
Born in 1961, Gérard Kuperfarb is a French national.
He holds a degree from the Ecole des Mines de Nancy, a Master of Materials Science from the Ecole des Mines de Paris and an MBA from the HEC Business School.
